Solo-extreme Lukanette and NaruSaku shippers are hypocritical, insufferable and rude dimwits who clearly don’t understand crap about the series or characters.
As much as I may like Luka, his crush on Marinette feels so forced and unrealistic that it makes me cringe. I feel that while he does care about her, it isn’t entirely realistic or something that’ll last a long time. But of course, Luka/Lukanette stans love to be shitty to Love Square shippers and Adrien fans, claiming that the abuse he’s suffered in canon is fake and that he sucks because he doesn’t ‘love’ Marinette like Luka does. Which is false; because Chat Noir has always respected both Ladybug and Marinette: Protecting her when she’s in danger as a civilian, respecting her talents and leadership instead of using the excuse of him being a white cisgender male unlike other boys his age, and being kind to her and complimenting her. He sees her for more than her looks; and loves her inner beauty.
And as for NaruSaku, Sakura implied she only saw him as an annoyance, before they paved the path to becoming friends and mutually thought of each other as allies. I may not be trustworthy since I’ve yet to read the manga, but I saw a meta on here, and it was obvious she had eyes for Sasuke since her first appearance.
And it’s a good thing Adrienette and SasuSaku are endgame ships. Why? Because Adrien and Sasuke love and respect Marinette and Sakura for who they are, not an idealized version of the girls. And that’s what they deserve.
Onto the fans - Lukanette and NaruSaku fans have a rather sexist view when it comes to shipping for each franchise. In their minds, the guy is allowed to choose whichever girl he wants and to like them, but the girl they like has to like him back or else she’s a horrible person.
And then, they shit on Sakura and Marinette for liking who they truly want to instead of their fave.
(This is not an anti post of neither Luka or Naruto, although I definitely like the former more than I enjoy the latter.)
