this couple breaks my patterns. i used to think that Derek was stupid and actually their reason for love is first sight, since they didn't know each other as lovers except for their looks in the beginning. but this is the only cartoon in which i turn a blind eye to it cause i love their story infinitely and their songs every time make me cry, especially Derek's song about Odette in part3. Odette saved Derek more often than he saved her, but how reverently his love for her is shown overrides everything. in a devalued love world i can't help but be touched by their story
