SKs love to talk about how Sasuke “awakened” Amaterasu for Karin...when he actually did nothing of the sort. It was Taka reminding him of Team 7 that caused him to unleash Amaterasu for the first time. Amaterasu was already part of his arsenal when he awakened the Mangekyo sharingan anyway, there was no “awakening” of anything going on in this scene. 

Sasuke’s unleashing an “emotional Amaterasu” was because of his thoughts of Team 7, not Karin. The only thing new he did for Karin was put the flames out. Again, that ability was already part of his arsenal; he didn’t “awaken” anything. He already knew he could dispense flames at that point, so going from point A to point B (putting them out) wasn’t as impressive as him unleashing the flames. The whole moment was about family anyway, not about Karin individually.

This post is also for those who try to downplay the importance of Team 7 to Sasuke. Clearly his feelings for Team 7 were incredibly strong.

I'm pro-Naruto ending and SasuSaku (+ShikaTema) but HIGHLY anti-NaruHina & Hinata

i can not express how tired i am of people trying to push these agendas:

sakura is selfish

sakura is a doormat

sakura doesn't understand sasuke

if either naruto or sasuke were a girl then SS shippers would ship SNS

if sasuke and sakura’s genders were swapped we’d see sakura’s behavior as disturbing

all of these claims are really easily refuted. 

1. all of sakura’s language indicates her concern for sasuke’s well being above her own. she offers to help him with revenge even though she knows the dangers of such an undertaking, for example. also:

2. no.

this is only one instance of her standing up to him out of many. 3. no.

4. if either sasuke or naruto were a girl, their relationship would still be platonic. malexfemale brotps do exist, e.g. various friendships in the pokemon anime, zutara, hermionexharry, etc. anyone who thinks they’d be shipped more if they were a hetero pairing is the one being heteronormative. 5. people who think gender-swapped SS would be seen as disturbing most likely harbor internalized misogyny, though many would vehemently deny it. think about it: why would a heartbroken guy be seen as disturbing? because guys aren’t supposed to be so emotional? jeez, the misogyny runs deeper than i thought.

Sometimes I wonder how ASS feels knowing that they cannot change the ending nor anything that happened within the manga and that no matter how many anti-ending blogs they create that they’ll never change anything? The thought is just the funniest thing ever to me.
