I think Sai’s character development is awesome too. I can talk about Sai for a long time. As soon as I said that, we just got more info about Sai in his 20s post Inojin. Boruto episode 222, flashback of toddler Inojin in Shikamaru’s home & he looks 20 months old there. It appears Inojin was a fussy one, based on flashback. It sounds like Sai has been going to inoshikacho bbq with Inojin since like forever. We may see more of Inojin’s early life in the next ep like they did with Boruto in ep 62.

Oh Yes! I have seen it I am so happy, InoShikaCho team's bond is beautiful! (I love seeing Temari with them too) I wish I could make a post with manga panels and all (specially novel moments) about Sai's development, but I lack the english skills, and the talent for making such a good post but I must say I love the Sai fandom they truly love his character as he is and this is something I find beautiful maybe for Saiino fandom I was just reflecting how much I enjoy Saiino and they deserve more love I am sad I don't have skill neither talent to create Saiino content however the Saiino stans are very genuine with their love for Sai and Ino's canon characters and personalities also are usually very talented so as much as I think Saiino fandom should be "bigger" (because how could you not love this beautiful couple?) I feel that Saiino fans are very genuine with the love they have for the character, ship and Inojin and this for me trumps numbers you know what I am saying? Saiino may not be as popular as the main but the love they receive for their fans is equally big, sorry for this vent anon >< I was reflecting on how I am useless TT ~ ugh how I hate not making art neither writting lmao! but I am glad to see how genuine the Saiino fandom is, very wholesome ❤

Sai being a married man & dad surprised me. I wish we would see more of Sai in his 20s post Inojin like we did with Sakura post Sarada. We nearly went straight to Sai in his 30s completely. Naruto’s hokage ceremony takes place in July. Based on Inojin & Himawari’s height, there’s evidence Inojin is like 7 & Sai is about 29 in Naruto’s hokage ceremony. We get to read fewer stuff about Sai when he’s in his 20s post Inojin in the novels(His marriage prejudices from villagers & small Boruto etc..)

I am deeply sorry for the time it took for me to reply, I am a little busy those days I feel very honored for your asks, Sai is a great man a great ninja an absolutely perfect husband and a 100/10 dad! I agree with you 100% it would be awesome if they showed more of Sai, I would like to see many novels saiino scenes being animated as well I can't even start how much I love his character development and relationship with Ino they are sooo meant for each o ther I could go on forever! I guess we can assume his personality fairly well on Boruto anime (I agree we did need to see him more tho!) for what I can see he is a considerate, supportive, caring, HANDSOME (hehe sorry) husband, a supportive caring father as well while still being a super competent shinobi, it impress me how far he gone how much he grow seeing his growth completely would indeed be amazing 💖

Edit: That’s ok, I’m not pro at math either. I just learned that it was recently confirmed that NaruHina got married on May 8th. I knew it was during spring time and I thought their wedding would be about late March-early April. Now, we definitely can assume Sai and Ino dated for around 7-9 months before marriage. Sai did mature a lot post Inojin. That means Naruhina dated for around 4 months before marriage. This also confirms Sakura started traveling with Sasuke around 1 month later.

How is Ino a "housewife" all she was doing in 700 was standing next to Sai waiting for Inojin to show up so they could train with him. I don't get the lack of logic.....
