I never actually thought I’d be able to do something like this in my life :)) All I wanted to do was to sing and perform <3 At first, it was for selfish reasons. The stage and the limelight can be a heady drug, and if you aren’t careful enough, you’d get addicted.

But then music became an avenue to make new friends and it gave me an opportunity to come out of my shell and bare my soul to the audience. Music became a way to express myself and it was 10x better because I was able to perform with my friends <3

But I tumbled down from my high when my music teacher repeatedly told me I couldn’t sing. And it hurt; being told that you can’t do something you enjoyed because you weren’t good enough.

And the worst part?

I believed her.

For a long time, I doubted myself every time I sang. Every note sounded wrong and every time I attempted to harmonize with others, it sounded like a child smashing random piano keys.

It was all in my head though.

It took an amazing bunch of people to convince me and help me gain back my confidence <3 They took me in and before I knew it, I was singing my heart out to a huge crowd and it felt amazing.

ProD’G is my family :) These crazy group of people who order milk tea every rehearsal and roast each other endlessly is a group I will never get tired of being with :)) Thank you for helping me believe in myself and show the world who I really am :)
