 ♥ - What does ‘love’ mean to them?

Love is a very scary word for Rose, she’s someone that of course believes in it since she’s seen the love between her parents for years. But for her? She doesn’t think its a possibility because she feels that she’s damaged goods. So keeps her walls up from everyone, but still sleeps around to fill the void of loneliness. She is hopeful that one day it’ll happen for her….but that day is not anytime soon.

♠ - What are they afraid of?

Spiders definitely, spiders are her biggest fear. When she was three, a huge spider fell on her face while she was sleeping and seeing her father so terrified of one escalated her fear of them. She’s also fairly commitment phobic and fears that because of her mistakes people close to her will die.

“Oi! Charlie Boy!”The nickname continued to hurt even after she graduated from training. It raked it's claws down her heart and tore the already fragile muscle a little more. It continued to remind her of her father, and the way he had looked the night he had died, blood pouring from the gunshot, his face pale and white.She never stopped to tell anyone about that memory. Never told them why she flinched every time she heard those words. All they knew was that the tough as nails cadet flinched when people called her Charlie Boy. And they tortured her with it. “Get dressed, Charlie Boy!”“Do you think you're fucking invincible, Charlie Boy?!”She had felt sentimental the day she had gotten her father's nickname tattooed to her shoulder. Pride had sparked to life when she had taken a shower without her bandage for the first time and someone had asked about it. Had loved feeling her father so close to her for the first time in years.The other cadet's blood was running down her curled fingers, sinking into the cracks of her fist. She stared down at it, disgust rising in her chest as she stared at the blood. The boy gasped for air beneath her, his hands cupping his bloody nose. His breathing brought back the memories of her father, and she collapsed to the ground.And then her instructor called her Charlie Boy, grabbing her roughly by the shoulder. And she had snapped.

The kid -- satisfied that her questioner isn't looking to get her in trouble -- grins and makes an agile leap onto a nearby railing on the DuSable Bridge. "Liam, a' course. He's...well, I call him my big brother but he ain't really. Found me on the street when I was a toddler, got me into the Reds. He's the one taught me how to fight n' pick locks, n' he gave me a pistol and a knife." She flicks a switchblade out of her sleeve with a smooth motion, looking pleased as it flashes in the sun, and then disappears it just as quickly.

At the second question, however, her expression drops somewhat.

"I dunno really," she says, rubbing the back of her neck. "Liam says I oughtta go be a soldier -- go into space, y'know? He makes me study math and stuff in the library so I can pass the tests. Says I'm smart enough to get offworld, not be stuck on the streets. 's boring though. I'd rather go downtown and fight the Kings, keep 'em outta our turf, 'stead of fight some fuckin' aliens."

“You’re broken.” The girl sighed, shuffling closer to the woman as she sat hunched over her desk for what seemed the fourth consequtive hour since the news broke, sliding an arm precautiously around Miranda’s back. Sparks narrowed the gap between them until it felt as if her whole body was curled into her side. “I don’t like it when your sad, Lawson.” She tried so hard not to break herself -of course- but the urgent pressure behind her eyes over the newly loss of their Commander was making that so near impossible. “I miss-“ I miss her too. "Please don’t cry? I’ve held it… But if you cry, I dunno what I’m gonna do."

[Okay, so this is admittedly random, but can we talk about how fantastic your Shepard looks for a minute? How many mods are you using? Because WOW :D]

I run a bunch of HD mods for armor and such but the hair I got from here, the custom face texture here, and (sadly because i'm an unoriginal fuck who also forgot that the face code was named jenna) this is the face code. The mods make her look a lot different tho so I feel like that makes me a little less awful heh.)
