So basically, I had this co-worker at my new office. It was her last day and HR suggested to write something about her you remember during the time you were together .  When the card was passed to me i wrote exactly "One of the beautiful person i know", yes that's it simple as that, the same card was passed to other colleagues, people looked at it, kinda had eye brow raise expression and moved on, when it reached to girl,s they had same expressions, some of them even looked at me, smiled and may be whispered in other's ear as well .  The lady received the card, she looked at me with smile and she continued her process for the last day. we didn't have conversation, We met couple of weeks ago at mall, she stopped by to say hello and normal conversation of how life and everything is going .  To give you more idea, i am someone who almost never speaks in the office, friendly but not too invested into any group . We are at least 30 people in the office . The lady is in her early or may be mid 40s, single. she used to sit besid me, trying to make me introduce to everyone in the office when i was new, adding me into group activities, even providing her own extra monitor when my monitor had technical issues . 

That's a completely unprofessional thing to put in a work card. You need to learn what the time and what the place is because that isn't it. In a good-bye or retirement card, you can put that you enjoyed working with someone or that you wish them luck in their future endeavors. You don't hit on them or comment on their appearance. You're lucky she was leaving. Otherwise that could have gotten you in trouble with HR.
