theres nothing wrong with you having different taste, but you need to accept that you are not the target audience. this media is being written by and for people with a different set of tastes. it doesnt mean you cant still enjoy it even if you arent part of the crowd that it was made for, but you also have to understand that sometimes media is being made with a specific audience in mind and not trying to cater to everyone in the whole world.
you need to curate your own experience. instead of getting mad that something was produced to cater to a different crowd, you would be better off supporting the media out there that is being made where you are in fact the target audience! it's out there and waiting for you and no one is going to make more of it if everyone is too busy trying to force an entirely different genre to warp itself to suit their needs in particular while ignoring the media that is already being made with them in mind.
otherwise you end up sounding like the steven universe fans asking why steven did not simply murder the diamonds for being fascist. in a show for literal children which is all about using the power of kindness. maybe watch inglorious bastards instead of a show for babies?”
