The man's shoulders rolled as his face flooded, only for a moment, with naked relief. Even so, his posture remained threatening as he stepped into Anders' space. Anders, to his credit, only took one step back.

20. What’s your favorite minor character you’ve written?

I feel like it's a broken record to say Lythir, but it's always going to be Lythir. He was never intended to be in the fic as much as he ended up being (or in the role he ended up being), but it unlocked so much of what I was trying to do when he popped up with his voice, and it was a delight to paly and find ways for his character to be unique.

🤝 - offscreen npc i most want to meet

So like, an NPC that we know exists but haven't met?

Verin and Deirta come to mind. Mostly because there is a really strong fandom idea of what they are like.

I also really would have liked to meet someone from Yasha’s tribe? Idk if that’s weird but she is (I think) the only person of the Nein whose home we’ve never been really close to. Like, yes, the Nein did stuff in Xhorhas but it would’ve been interesting to me to contextualize her past via NPCs. Though I don’t think that there would have been any narrative benefit to it. Just my interest.

🌱 - favorite arc setting

I answered this but another one that comes to mind is Rumblecusp. I’m gonna count the weird mind magics as part of the setting bc they really added to the atmosphere. It was nice to have this mysterious island plot coupled with the cult shit. I also, as a DM, like the idea of having this finite space for the players to explore that isn’t necessarily a dungeon. The different areas, different types of perils and creatures kept being surprising and interesting.
