Kyle had been busy over the last month working and preparing for classes. He’d also not wanted to be obvious in checking up on his friend’s new lover.  Still, he’d planned to come into the pub sooner.  As it was, he only had his free hour to sit and nurse a martini as he watched the man.

Frisky | Ciaran & Dhani

Ciaran had invited Dhani over for another little cooking lesson. He wanted to surprise Kai with something other than burgers and his go-to steak and Irish potatoes. They had decided on pasta with a homemade bolognese sauce and garlic knots. Easy enough for him to hopefully not massively fuck up, but still nice. “Am I doin’ this right, love?” He asked, grinning as Dhani came over and put his hands over his to adjust the speed of his stirring. When the male’s hands lingered a little longer than needed, he turned a little and kissed the others cheek, then suddenly spun him around in a spontaneous dance step. “Watch your toes darlin’” He teased with a laugh.

“Hey--” Dhani laughed at the suddenly move of the dance step, falling in place with him, despite dropping a blob of dough on the ground. “Watch out for the garlic-- splat.” Dhani chuckled, glancing down before looking back to the taller man. “What’s with the impromptu dance lesson? I can keep time but I’m not.. very smooth with this.”

And as if to prove it, his bare foot stepped on the piece of dough on the kitchen floor.

Piano Man | Ciaran & Wat

Ciaran had been eyeing the piano for some time now. He had had a rush of musical creativity lately, likely because of that buoyant, soul-cleansing feeling called love. He loved to sing and perform, but he wasn’t the type to go humming to himself around the house. Unless he was in the shower, of course. That was a given. But he just couldn’t seem to keep in inside these days. Casting another glance around the pub, he noted that he was still all but alone, and decided to give in to the urge. Flexing his fingers, he came out from behind the bar and jumped onto the small stage, seating himself behind the piano. After contemplating for a moment, he grinned and tested the keys then began to play, his rich voice soon filling the space.

Wat figured, at the behest of several teachers he’d spoken to, perhaps some actual lesson plans would have been a good idea. He didn’t see anything against open class discussion and zero testing. But the school needed test scores evidently. So he supposed he better come up with a plan and test, quizzes, and the like. An Irish pub, werewolf owned or not, in the middle of the day seemed a quiet enough place to work. He had ordered a blood wine and a separate glass of rose nearly two hours ago, perhaps the bartender/owner forgot about him in the far corner of the room. But that suited Wat just find if it meant he was getting serenaded with piano music.

Setting his pen aside, Wat rested his chin in his hand, taking a sip of rose, his bloodwine gone by now, watching and listening to the Irishman. He said not a thing until the song was finished, then merely smiled to the werewolf.

“I love Elton John. Do you know Skyline Pigeon? I quite like that one.”

         True to his word Benjie decided to swing by Ciaran's pub before the term started again. He was surprised to see it not as occupied as he was expecting because he managed to get to the bar without much difficulty at all.

“Hey man I'm used to graveyards but not used to seeing them in bars. Did I barge in before you're open?” Benjie leaned against the bar with a wide smile and a raised brow. Truth be told he hadn't paid attention to the sign on the door and just waltzed in with his signature grin and swagger.

“I can come back if you're not serving, or I can just impishly pester you until you pay attention to me. I'm pretty good at that, Samuel tells me.”

"Y'know one of these days someone's bound to respect the no trespassing signs," Wilder sighed as he looked at Ciaran with a slight grin while noticing the other was shirtless from where he was standing, though, possibly more than shirtless if he'd just shifted back. "What happen, you forget how to read when you're a wolf, make your way onto my property, and shift back thinking I won't mind because I like the sight?" he asked, his grin widening slightly as he looked Ciaran over. "Thought it smelled like wet dog over here," he added the jab casually, he was obviously not serious, all good natured ribbing.

It had been long enough since coming to the island, that Violet needed to get a job. Sure she could continue to just eat the free meals provided by the school for the slaves, and sure she could keep charging things to Lily’s accounts because Lily would definitely pay them, but she had liked being able to earn her own money. So, she had asked around, figured out what kind of jobs were available, and after making a list and figuring out what she didn’t want to do, it left her with a better idea of what there was that she could do. So for the past few days, she’d been going from place to place, putting in applications. Today was no different, and as she walked into the pub she took a look around. It was interesting, her first time in there, but she saw a stage area, where she’d be working she assumed, if she got the job. 

She approached the bar and tapped her fingers against the bartop for a moment before giving the man who walked out from the back a slight smile. “Hey, are you Ciaran?” she asked. “I’m Violet, I heard you were hiring,”
