In 2013, Yahoo bought Tumblr for $1.1 billion in cash. Six years later they sold it for $3 million, less than 0.4% of what it was bought for.

I just unironically used the Underpants Gnomes meme in a text conversation.
I’m not sure where to go from here.
When klance stans say that the interview could just be hinting that klance will be a slow burn just.....le sigh....
Between citing biased polls (if you take a poll about shipping in a closed environment with fujioshi, you’re going to get a biased response), reaching for all manner of outlandish theories, playing the homophobia card AGAIN, and citing Korra, I am done.
Please let the shown have a Keith/Merla/Allura love triangle. And then next time Netflix wants to revive a classic series, keep Korra alumni the hell away from it so we don’t have to hear “But Korra!” a thousand times. Korra didn’t sell toys. Korra didn’t get ratings. Korra failed at the end of the day.
>make Dark Elesia wear Ciel's nun uniform >now you have a nun who's more heretic than Ciel

In an alternate universe I would've done a PhD on language development-- it's the perfect combination of evopsych and cultural socialisation. Maybe if I didn't get dragged into the world of awful policy lmao. Kinda got sidetracked there from my real love normative child dev (but also everyone and their mom is doing child dev so it's hard to really stand out, vs child policy that nobody wants to touch with a 10ft pole).
Next time you get bored, instead of reaching for your phone to scroll, I challenge you to do something nice for someone else. It can be really small, just do something!
