Through this past year or so I have come to the realization that no matter how hard you try, you absolutely can't please everyone. Even though there were various instances this had come to my attention, I never did anything about it. Discovering this in reality for the first time is difficult, but most definitely a positive. I have learned to do things that make me happy. Because if you are doing things you enjoy, you are bound to meet people who enjoy your company and you theirs. You will also have opportunities to do even more things you enjoy and travel places that will further this string of enjoyment. Now, through this epiphany, I am finally doing something to resolve the constant stress I have put myself through in order to please the people around me.

I'm finally doing something for me. Put plainly and simply, something I want to do. For once I'm going to disregard what other people say or think. I'm not going to put in to consideration other people's opinions. I'm going to be free from all the anxiety and exhaustion and stress. I'm going to cut myself loose from this torturous bondage I've created. This is what I want, and I'm going to go for it. I couldn't be more excited for what the future holds.
