Western society is so addicted to the image of the naked female body which is literally everywhere, but being a muse, being inspiring which is a whole different issue; doesn't just include a physical presence but also a spiritual contribution and interplay, this element is rarely present in this kind of imagery...we don't get to see some kind of story or narration, we mostly get to see flat echoes of male lust and control, after a while it's only a cynical fast consumption of partial images and impressions. And if male lust is obvious and so demanding, where's the righful representation of female desire?...I often wonder. Female sexuality still very much remains a riddle, as gender issues stay out of the agendas of social dialogue we won't be able to grasp its special characteristics, uniqueness and expressions; and that's a very sad occurence as a more open approach would lead to a more healthy and meaningful interaction between the sexes, that's something our distorted and neurotic world greatly needs, more balance, more diversity out of oppressions and norms; an enhancement of ideas, life examples and some mindfulness, apathy and addictions of all kinds have obviously led us nowhere good.
