So I was wondering if anyone knows where exactly I could get physical copies of Ali Shariati's writings/lectures from? I've tried to look it up myself, but Google has been less than helpful, and I'm really interested in his idea of "red shiism" though I've only heard about it 2nd hand

i’ve been called a “progressive muslim” so many times and i am very much not.

i’m just not a Qur’an literalist and have a deep seated mistrust in religious leaders so i actually study my religion and ask questions.

it takes so much effort to sort through the strange and misguided opinions of the “ulema”.

Muslims should be the biggest environmentalists and animal lovers. Like what do you mean you’re actively destroying the world that God gave to you? What do you mean you’re actively ignoring it / not doing anything to help preserve his creation? You think he’s happy with you doing that? Humans aren’t his only creation that deserve protection and love. Yall wouldn’t even stroke a dog to save its life. It’s so embarrassing. We’ve became embarrassing.
