My Progress - Week #9
Slow progress but there is some. I’ve decided to change up what I offer with my services. Since many people don’t want to pay to create something they can do themselves, I’ve decided to offer a strictly troubleshooting service for those who have questions. This service will be very low cost but will still bring in a few dollars. I haven’t made any new contracts since my last progress report but with the deal I made with a local choir of 40 people, that will keep me busy and we agreed upon a price that is 3 times the amount I thought my final Net Profit will be so I am not overly concerned with this. I think that is something that is going well. I was able to make a large deal from the beginning which saves me the stress of rushing during the last few weeks. Overall I am pleased. I have made one video so far with this local choir and we are getting ready to make 4 more in the coming months. I am learning that I should have planned out more before of how much I could handle with my other jobs and commitments. But we learn from our mistakes and I am slowly learning more each week. The goal for next week is to secure me a schedule of what I can handle and what I have room for in terms of other videos.
Finally under 58kg!!! Classes start again in a month so I am on track to being close to 56kg when I start. I still can’t see that much of a difference especially at my arms but hopefully the next few weeks and a new training schedule will fix that
Hoop was so much fun tonight but amongst all the hard fun moves and holds, I realised I’d got good at stuff I wasn’t even focused on - transitions, mounts and dismounts. Holds. Somehow that feels even more important because it’s proof I’m making progress just by turning up.
Two of my fav pics from tonight, even though I look like I’m trying to choke my partner 😅
Note to self
As much as I’d like to be angry and badmouth my ex... she stopped being worth my energy and time a long tome ago. So there’s that. At least you can be free now.
“For instance, when we experience failure we typically develop mental strength and stamina to keep persisting despite adversity. Moreover, this forces us to seek out new knowledge and skills that can help us overcome this problem the next time around. It’s therefore of tremendous value to see failure and setbacks as an opportunity that can help you upgrade your internal reservoir of resources.”
- Adam Sicinski
We have come from God, and inevitably the myths woven by us, though they contain error, will also reflect a splintered fragment of the true light, the eternal truth that is with God. Indeed only by myth-making, only by becoming 'sub-creator' and inventing stories, can Man aspire to the state of perfection that he knew before the Fall. Our myths may be misguided, but they steer however shakily towards the true harbour, while materialistic 'progress' leads only to a yawning abyss and the Iron Crown of the power of evil.
Whenever you practice, experiment, or observe your craft, that is spending quality time to get better or more understanding of what you are doing.
