Bronx Parks: Van Cortlandt, Devoe, Fort Independence, Cortona

This was a great experience filming in the Bronx Parks. June Baby Productions are native Queens girls, so it was awesome to learn about so many different parks in the borough that we have grown to love.

Bronx Parks is a 3 part series where we visit and learn more about the many parks in the Bronx. In this episode we explore Van Cortlandt Park, Devoe Park, Fort Independence Park & Crotona Park.

The Bronx has the most park space in all of New York City. Project Bronx explores the beauty of many parks in this county and the people who enjoy them.

Episode 5: Race Relations in the Bronx

We have many misconceptions about race or ethnicity and often times we are too afraid to even bring it up in public! However, a healthy conversation about race and ethnicity can actually teach us that we are all very similar and share the same dreams, struggles and ambitions!

Episode 6: Speak English, Learn Spanish 

Language barriers create a divide and unnecessary insecurities. The bronx is made up of 1/3 of New York City's Latino population. NYC has over 2 million Hispanic/Latino's  Over 700,000 reside in the county of the Bronx.  Spanish is no longer a foreign language to this borough. We took to the streets and asked people how they felt when others speak a different language in front of them or vice versa, how people feel when they are the ones speaking the different language.
