I think my favourite thing about ran is that to be around him is so easy. He makes life easier for you just by existing. He coaxes gentleness, reliance, dependency from you, not always through subverted means but because he makes it so easy to want to trust him with things. He's up for any task, is so steady and firm and capable, the kind of man you could call in a crisis, because you just know he knows what to do. And even when he's teaching you something new, you never feel dumb for it. It's love, safe and assured and warm and steady. Just like him.
