hey so finals are the worst and i’m so anxious i can barely function

I am SO FRUSTRATED with people being flaky and non-committal like??? Shit doesn't happen unless you put time and effort in friends! Its doesn't! I'm trying to help organize and event and yeah, I'd love for more people to come out to enjoy a thing I love and maybe help out and get into it I'm super about recruitment but I expect people who are already in the friggin community to show the fuck uppppp. There are so many people who love going to stuff and are all "ooooh I wanna get into this, blah blah blah" but don't! Fucking! Show up to help! This team died originally because the few volunteers burned out and nobody took over and ive put in too much effort for that to happen again UGH. I feel like if you are using the resources provided by an organization you should fucking show up and help out. Or at least figure out if you can and say you will and then SHOW UP. If you want me to show up to YOUR event you put the effort into coming to help me. THATS HOW COMMUNITY WORKS! WE HELP AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER!! and important life lesson here guys, if you want to take part in things you gotta give back or else things die! Support the communities you love!! This is boiling my fuckin blood right now like if you say you want to be involved but won't put in the time you are lying! You are full of shit! If you can't/ don't want to do something at least be honest and upfront about it I have a lot more respect for that
