ok because we're talking about proms can i just say how overrated they are? I'm American and everyone just pretends that they enjoyed it and it's a "memory for a lifetime" like no it is NOT. I'll tell you what it is. mediocre chicken, spending too much money on a dress, and weird drama. ok i'm done lol

Larkin and I met up with Kat and Asher during our lunch period in the culinary hall. Asher: Dude I bet you are so glad we don’t have any sports right now. I always feel bad for you because Coach stays on your back about being in shape. Larkin: My dad wouldn't really let up even over the break if I wasn’t with Hannah I was conditioning. I guess that’s what I get for having a coach for a dad. Asher: Man I am sorry that is rough.

Larkin: It’s cool I gotta be able to keep up with Hannah anyway so the more in shape the better. Kat: Did Lou go to see a certain older brother off today? Hannah: I didn’t see her at my house this morning, but Wyatt said he expected company so maybe. I don’t understand those two I thought Lou was talking to that girl in Hartford? Kat: She said she was too clingy and didn’t like how close we all were so Lou said peace out. Hannah: Yeah, that will do it. Asher: You girls already planning your dresses for the prom? Hannah: Not really but I didn’t plan on going. Kat: Hannah now you have to go! Larkin: Not if she doesn’t want to and I wouldn’t make her. As we headed out the doors toward class Larkin leaned in to give me a hug before he ran off. Hannah: I would go to prom if you wanted to go. Larkin: Well, I was hoping to ask you to it.

I saw you were talking about proms so, im from the uk and we do have it here kind of. but its not a serious things, everyone goes with their friends and they do really stupid awards and shit

hiya lovelyy! yeahh i’m uk too, mine was pretty rubbish. everyone hyped it up so much, bc it was a pretty “big” thing in my school (bc we didn’t do much of anything else like it at all) but it turned out to be absolutely shocking! i also broke my heels too which wasn’t fun 😂😩

First ask about prom here lmao.

I try not to think about it anymore because it upsets me. It just came to my mind when I watched the movie today. Maybe I'm going to write a sef-indulged fic about this because all I can think of going to the ball with George and how he would be the perfect date I never had. Honestly I think I can never date someone real because my standards for men are too high thanks to fictional characters and fanfiction. I wish there was a machine that could bring your fav characters to life– things would be so much easier lmao. 😄

And also thank you for your kind words that means a lot to me. ❤️ My grandpa said that I looked like a princess, like Snow White which is how I try to remember the night.

i agree with your grandpa, i bet you absolutely looked like a princess!! stupid boys don’t know a good thing when they see it haha! definitely try to remember the night like that, and hold onto how beautiful you felt when you got ready!! as far as i’m aware, you’re basically snow white to me now! ❤️
