            Floating chords of laughter, the sound of it like music.  Asra rests against the bar where the troupe of friends has made their conversation with him.  It’s all very elementary at it’s base ‘ my friend thinks you’re pretty cute ‘.  He thinks something else was said but Asra misses the end of it when he stands up on his toes to look over the shoulders of these ridiculously tall men to meet the vivid stare of a handsome man, presumably their friend as they have motioned to him. 

           “ Is that so? “ ( eyes of pale, opulent color.  It reminds Asra of WATER.  Adoring, aww-- he’s pretty cute himself. )  These rowdy men strike him as military type, so Asra offers a laugh and picks up his drink and heads over to the table where their friend waits.  “ Hey-- “

            ❛  i'm FINE atlas. ❜ kubo has been injured many times on his quest for the armor. this CERTAINLY won't be the last. it is the worst atlas has ever seen him injured before. kubo likes to heal all injuries and pains prior to meeting up with his favorite hero. it's better that way. he doesn't want to be one more thing that keeps atlas awake at night (  he knows he already is but why make him worry MORE ). no one can avoid ANYTHING forever. it was only a matter of time before atlas would see kubo at a low point. 

     ❛  there was nothing you could have done. my aunts surprised me. they WON'T manage that twice.  ❜ his voice has a low, underlying ANGER to it before he pulls himself back to the PRESENT. a fire crackles before them, and for now, the night is calm. kubo is going to do his best to relax and he'll force atlas to do it WITH him whether he likes it or not.

      he leans gingerly into the arms that have wrapped around him. careful not to move his arms to fast he adjusts atlas's hands lower on his waist before intertwining their fingers together. the grip is TIGHT and comforting. he tries to hide how deeper breathes make him squirm in pain. ❛  if you want to help me don't MOVE too much. try not to WORRY too loud either, it might keep me awake, hero.  ❜
