If those “Engineers” you called.. created the human race, why would they want to wipe us out?

That is an excellent question, and one I've asked myself over and over again. The only thing I can think is that we... disappointed them, somehow. We didn't measure up to their expectations. God flooded the world to rid it of sin. Similarly, we must have failed in our purpose.
