Areta and Verena are amazing OCs with a depth of worldbuilding behind them that challenges most published authors that I know. Mary’s lore is astounding; you can easily spend a day or so reading through her headcanons and drabbles to get a feel for the world she’s built for her dragons.
But beyond her worldbuilding, Mary has the ability to breathe life into her characters. Both Areta and Verena are unique OCs, and I can guarantee you that they will react differently to just about any prompt you can lob at them. (Unless it’s about how superior they are. Then they’re going to act exactly as you’d expect dragons to act, which is to say, they’re better than you.)
