{Bucky Barnes Prompt} {Avengers} "You still find another way to amaze me and I love you for it."

I don’t have much experience writing for Bucky nor do I know the character that well, so bear with me. But I’ll try my best, thank you for requesting! :)

I observed Bucky, wondering what was going through his head. Was it what I just said? 

“What?” I urged him, seeing as he wasn’t responding nor changing his expression.

“You used the perfect words” He just told me, finally looking at me and dedicating me a brief yet friendly grin. “You always know exactly what to say to make me feel better” 

My cheeks began to burn, and I was so flattered that I probably blushed.

“I’m really glad to hear that” I nodded my head to reinforce my words and sweetly smiled at him.

Bucky wouldn’t stop looking at me. It flustered me, since his eyes were so full of… love.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” I chuckled nervously, shy about that much attention focused on me.

“You still find another way to amaze me, and I love you for it” He replied fondly. “I had never met someone that gets me so well”

“Aw” I felt such a huge wave of fondness towards him that I just had ot hug him.

Bucky didn’t complain when I did. In fact he seemed to be enjoying it.

Ryan laughed out loud at my joke, holding on to my shoulder as he bended over himself from the laughter.

“They’re even funnier than you” My brother grinned, coolly leaning on me.

“I mean… it’s not so hard” I went along with him, knowing he was being silly and playful as usual. “Have you heard their jokes?”

“I mean, that was an okay joke…” Greg mumbled in the background goofily, even if he had laughed a lot too.

“That’s right, Sean!” Ryan jokingly slapped him in the shoulder, even if he couldn’t really keep a straight face.

“Why me?” His friend whined, pouting at me. “Why not Will, Derrick or Paco?” 

He didn’t mention Greg because we all knew he was the funniest. He never failed to make us crack up.

“Because they’re off camera, that’s why” My brother defended me.

“Paco has the worst jokes, though” I said, looking at him.

In response to my comment, everyone started laughing at my attack on poor Paco. Even Derrick and Greg off camera.

“To be fair, you only have silly puns” Ryan backed me up again, even if he was smiling and meant it in a playful way.

“I also have buns!” Paco excitedly said, making yet another one of his puns, pointing to his butt. And just in time for Sean to point the camera at him and get it.

“See? That’s what I mean” I grinned, making Paco laugh in the end.

So many things had happened in so little time. It was all confusing, and it was all overwhelming.

I stared at Eobard, wondering if the man I knew was different after I had found out those new things about him. That he was the Reverse Flash and all he had done. 

He didn’t seem bothered by that at all, he just held my glare calmly.

I opened my mouth, trying to say something, but I couldn’t. How was I supposed to? I didn’t even know how to order my thoughts.

So I just gulped and took a deep breath, figuring which the most important question at that moment was.

“Do you hate me?” I piped up in the end, becoming more stern.

He touched my face in a gentle caress.

“You know the answer to that” His words were almost tender, just like his voice.

I just remained silent, becoming speechless again.
