As James wrapped his hand around the golden snitch, the Gryffindor commonroom was filled with applause, as Peter went absolutely mental.
Sirius: Merlin, Wormy, are you gonna do that every time?
James chuckled, winking at the two girls walking past the fireplace. James didn’t notice, but Remus was shaking his head, stifling a laugh.
James: What are you laughing at, Moony?
But before he got his answer, his hand started to vibrate...something was wrong with the snitch.
The golden ball, broke free and zoomed out of the open window, as the girls stopped dead in their tracks, giggled, and contined upstairs towards the girl’s dormitory.
As James’ eyes landed on Remus, the laugh escaped, and Remus’ howls of laughter drowned out Wormtail’s applause.
still laughing, Remus picked up a silver container, baring the logo of Zonko’s jokes shop...
Remus: “Trick Snitches! Activated by the simple touch of skin! once it’s been touched, a powerful Depulso charm will send it flying again, leaving any sorrowful victim with an empty hand, and a damaged pride!” Sirius: Sounds tailor-made, doesn't it, Prongs?

James opens his eyes, slowly getting use to the sunlight coming from the window.
It’s Friday. The house is quiet. It’s a miracle.
He changes his position and now he’s facing Lily. His gorgeous wife.
He needs to go to the bathroom, but Lily’s soft fingers hold his arm.
He doesn’t argue against it. They kiss, lazily.
