It’s beautiful to me how the Qur’an doesn’t call us “Children of Cain” but “Children of Adam”—the aspect of our real origin, which starts with Adam (peace be upon him) should be emphasized first but it’s to show that just like Adam we can repent for our sins and that we are not hopeless.
