Things to look for in 2028 (subject to change on unfolding events):

Democrats will studiously avoid Israel as an issue because their base doesn't like it but the campaigns "need" AIPAC money, and also any candidate not on board with Israel will get an AIPAC-funded muppet running against them in their primaries

Trump will play kingmaker -- his fanatics will follow whomever he endorses, and the moment any candidate on his side goes against Trump, that candidate will get the Rittenhouse treatment until they are either run out of the race or kiss Trump's ring in an obscene public humiliation ritual

Democrats will simply run on "not-Trump" and "the preservation of democracy against right-wing fascism" as they have for the last three elections, aka twelve years, aka too fucking long, but they know they have nothing else to run on

Republicans will simply accept the accusations of being right-wing fascists as "based" and move on, as they already have and continue to do

Republicans having no qualms about supporting Israel and happily participating in the military-intelligence complex/mutual masturbation session is the single reason they won 2024 and probably why they will win 2028 also -- Israel isn't going to get the assurances they want from the Democrats, and also the fatcat military corporations also want governments to manufacture conflict, which imperialist Republicans are all on board with, while globalist Democrats prefer merely diplomatic pressure in unison with the international community (though we know from Obama and Biden, they are bitchmade and will fold like wet paper about maintaining conflict where it's wanted).
