The perks of having a story set in a world that speaks a daughter language of English is that I can totally hide a reference to Rafayel in there and no one will think anything of it because "Rafael spelled Rafayel" won't stand out next to "Frederick spelled Vedwik" and is actually consistent with the spelling system that probably dates back to before LaDS was released.
^ Proppa spelling of Frederick and Rafael / Vedwik and Rafayel. (The letter R is typically pronounced as a W or the "uh" sound, except at the beginning of words where it retains its old pronunciation. Romanization of the letter typically is based on pronunciation to avoid confusion.)
Grammatically, "win" (within) is more appropriate, but it carries a connotation of restrictiveness and God cannot be contained, so "mon" (among/in an open space).
Zon plumz k'avertin.
May your name be memorialized.
"Avertin" doesn't have a direct English translation, but it means "to call, to show/present/teach/advertise, to be seen by all".
"Skelj" carries the connotation that the speakers expect to be given tasks to carry out while God supervises, rather than expecting Him to do everything himself.
Yol nuchind oz k'abodin us afchif, ye?
Would you lend us our sustenance when we are off-the-clock?
The inhabitants of Central City would never presume to get anything for free, nor would they waste their employers' money by eating on-the-clock.
N Yolr k'fogivin fevoz oz, sowrib wer k'fogivin nidz f'lenduz oz, ye?
And you would forgive us our debts, as we would forgive the enthusiasm of our lenders?
In the Bible printed in Central City, passages indicating that you should forgive debts owed to you have been generally reinterpreted. The narrative presented instead urges debtors to be forgiving of those collecting what's owed by any means necessary.
N Yolr sin k'insparin'ot, Yolr sted fr'thrikid k'arin forich sul, ye?
And would You not inspire (us to) sin, would You instead carry us from the wicked?
Koz ov Thellod, ofis, levrij, n displey.
Because the Lord's are the kingdom, the power, and the glory.
Oltim, eymmen.
Forever, amen.
The translation is spoken as if by a congregation. To speak it as a single person or a family, substitute:
Thellod/nuchind/fevoz/f'lenduz oz > oz Thellod/nuchind/fevoz/f'lenduz
I haven't remembered my login info for ConWorkShop.com for years now, but I made a new account and have been thinking about Proppa.
I wasn't going to add an alienable/inalienable distinction to the possessive pronouns, but it seems fitting for Proppa's speakers to develop, so here's a list of the pronouns currently.
1st Person
Subjective
We - Singular / Plural Close-Familial / Plural Inclusive (<6)
Wel - Plural Exclusive / Inclusive (6+)
Objective
Us - Singular / Plural Inclusive (<6)
Sul - Plural Exclusive / Inclusive (6+)
Possessive
Oz - Alienable Singular (placed before the noun)
Oz - Alienable Plural (placed after the noun)
Man - Inalienable Singular
Ćn - Inalienable Plural
The 1st person plural possessives act irregularly because "I" began being replaced with the corporate "we" in Central City before the Cut-Off.
2nd Person
Subjective
Yu - Singular
Yol - Plural
Objective
Silf - Singular
Selz - Plural
Possessive
Yun - Singular Inalienable
Zon - Plural Inalienable

"Respectful" is used to talk about authorities and people you are not associated with. It isn't meant for everyone you answer to, howeverāif your mother hears you refer to her by it, you probably l'restin mon thostoz (dead).
Proppa is a descendant of the English language and is spoken on the colony K-1114. It's alphabet is derived from an amalgamation of Greek and Latin characters due to flawed software in the digital, multilingual keyboards. The keyboards were sourced from Instellar Computers, a subsidiary of 2morrowday Innovations and it is suspected that the flawed keyboards may have been sabotage as the company was in a dispute with Tek-A-Chance Explorations - the company in charge of the colony's construction - when the keyboards were delivered.
After the keyboards fell out of use, the next generations took unique script to pen-and-paper and it quickly evolved into its modern form. The alphabet is largely phonetic, with the exception of R, which can be both a rhotic consonant and a schwa.
