trc headcanons: movie night edition
ok this is just because i watched heathers alright let’s see
at first they aren’t sure because blue is there right but is it ok to make their friendship a thing? but it suddenly Just Is, the kind that you don’t question, and they also find out noah hasn’t exactly seen any of the new movies and would also like to show them the old ones that he loves, so.
they totally watch the breakfast club and heathers
i imagine blue tries to do the dance montage but she’s awful at it so she keeps tripping and ronan laughs and one day adam just visits their place and finds gansey, noah, ronan and blue standing on top of several tables put together, doing the dance, with 80s music in the background.
ronan screams ‘I LOVE MY DEAD GAY SON’ after they watch heathers. noah is not amused.
blue says ‘well fuck me gently with a chainsaw’, lynch covers chainsaw’s bird ears.
they watch high school musical and sing all the songs (noah and blue sing the first duo, but ronan and noah sing the sharpay songs, adam is ‘coerced’ into it, he totally loves it and sings a duet with gansey, who is confused and also tone deaf)
adam surprises anyone by quoting it out of nowhere (because they all quote it all the time, but adam just laughs, he never actually joins in but)
i imagine they’re playing a stupid board game just a day or two after they watching it and gansey’s losing and adam just goes ‘come on gansey. get your head in the game.’ everyone waits for a minute to pass before they collectively lose it.
they all cry on the titanic. richard’s bawling while blue passes him his stupid scented handkerchief because he totally has one.
they try to watch camp rock but it just isn’t the same
