We had doubled security after the last such incident, but my informant tells me that we will indeed need to install more men around the perimeter. “I recently was in the hospital for a very serious infection that landed me in the ICU. I went to the emergency room and had to wait 28 hours to get a room while being treated. The reason for the delay was there was gridlock in the hospital regarding rooms.

“Many people like me needed hospital care for non COVID procedures and the demand was greater than the supply. Yesterday was the 3rd or 4th day of increased hospitalizations in NC for COVID 19, and it may be trending higher.

“Please stop for a second and remember that we still have the pandemic and you must wear masks, wash your hands and social distance all the time and be vigilant in your everyday life. Your health and life may depend on it. Be safe.”

Remember, masks, hand-washing, and social distancing are not just to protect you from catching the virus. You don’t want to wait 28 hours when you go to the ICU with a broken arm or pneumonia.

do you know steps to get away from a handler? no contact isn't a viable option, because we have sisters who rely on us to visit, but that puts us in direct line to be accessed weekly. we're tired of the abuse, but we don't know how to take small steps to get away and start healing without abandoning our sisters/going no contact, which we can't feasibly do at the moment. any help is very appreciated. we really appreciate what you do with this blog, thank you. we hope you have a nice day!

​If you are unable to go no contact due to circumstances work towards limiting contact anyway possible.As I don’t know the complete situation I can only make a few suggestions: Meet in public, take someone with you, try and meet when the handler isn’t present, tell a trusted person when your visiting and when you plan on the visit ending, and ask a trusted friend to meet with you after the visit.
