Do you think the protectorate ever did a firefighter calendar type thing...
A commission for the unwavering Panda, of Miss Militia! You know, she's probably one of the two or so BB Protectorate heroes I really like, I think it's because of the 90's antihero vibe. Gun is a great superpower too.
STOP COMING AFTER ME. I GOT THE USERNAME BEFORE HE DID THAT!
Not to be Californian on main, but I have been irrationally upset by the implication that not only does Bakersfield have a Protectorate team, but also Riverside. AND Orange County has three cities that would have teams (LA, Anaheim, and Santa Ana).
If the statement that the 65 largest cities by population in the US each have their own Protectorate/PRT departments is accurate, that means during Worm, California would have twelve teams which is just too many
it’s been a while since i went through arc 9, i forgot vista like, stitched her own major wound together.
The entire arc is reminding me just how fucked the wards program is. Like hi, we’re the government. I know you just had the worst moment of your life, but could you please come help defend people. You will have to fight against world ending collosal monsters and also potentially super scary villains. Also please make sure to try and balance the rest of your life while also being in the process of growing up. Have fun!
The thing is being a cape is very encompassing. You don’t end up interacting with non capes nearly as much. A lot of the most powerful/recognized capes mostly strive to work with other capes, and make whatever relationships work there that they can. The Wards program by nature of it taking up a lot of a person’s time naturally pushes someone more towards the life of a cape and separates them from the rest of society in a way. Like of course there is the whole separate identity that further separates them, but there is also there is the thing Armsmaster said. The easiest thing to give up is free time.
Fun time in the Protectorate.
