Mi'Nerra tilted her face back toward the Mindripper in her arms, looking at him. She patted his neck guard encouragingly, arms still around him.
- Don't mention it. Mi'Nerra is enough - she replied with a murrmurr. Neveux still latched on to her, she stayed in her hunched over position. She looked around the room, extending her mind and searching for Xonav's tag with a question.
So close to the High Templar, Neveux could probably feel the soft bleed off of the threads of her consciousness, carefully, but briskly explore the room. It felt like a small bird fluttering around, soundlessly and immediately withdrew as she fixed at a point in the air at the furthest chair. Xonav was probably there. The chords of a brief, inaudible exchange rippled the air, then Mi'Nerra looked back at the unfolding scene.
Madrak looked up blinking at the Forgemother's command. The Zealot's armour under him was already dark, half slipped apart, half loose and the front piece with the crystal in his hands. He looked at the armour piece and casually threw it next to the unconscious Zealot. A swift strike from his baton sent the piece spitting sparks. He tugged at something between the plates of the remaining chest armour with his other hand. Their binding undone, the pieces fell apart, cluttering to the floor. He swiftly pulled out the energy core from under his back and threw it away.
He kept on peeling off the layers of armour, removing any odd piece with quick, practiced hands. He ripped up the padded undershirt with a motion to check there too. It didn't take him long before he flipped over the limp warrior on his bared belly and continue deftly on any remaining parts on his back. He only scoffed at the flashing up holo, and continued with his work, more furious.
"Suitor..."
There was a sickening crack. The Zealot's arm bended in a wierd angle as the engineer sitting on his back ripped of a darkened warpblade battery from it. How did this monster dare to degrade the Forgemother so, assuming things left and right?! How does he even has the audacity to call her names??!! Shuddering from anger, he continued to deactivate the other gauntlet. If the warrior under him stirred to life from the sudden pain, he sent him back to dreamland with a swift strike from his baton.
Mi'Nerra held Neveux closer and only frowned at the projected form. She hummed a calming note with her core, listening to the one-sided exchange. This Infarius... he talked a lot... Suddenly, Madrak screeched at his repeated mention and the insult toward Cerendak. A sparking warpblade battery flew through Infarius' projected head.
The High Templar's freckled face remained motionless when the Bone Collector beckoned her. Her eyes flicked down for a moment considering her possibilities, than looked back up. Xonav brushed an invisible hand against Mi'Nerra's bare upperarm. The woman's head turned away, looking in front of herself as if pondering to go over to the holo.
"He'll keep you hidden" she pushed the thought in the Mindripper's head. She squeezed his good hand before her arms slipped out from under his arms and stood up, only turning when she fully straightened herself. Xonav wordlessly slipped his arm around the Mindripper's shoulder, using the few seconds of cover Mi'Nerra's leisurely movement offered them. He pulled him against himself, under his cape, concealing the smaller Protoss. Skarath was there too, desperately clinging to her cousin.
Mi'Nerra lingered at her spot, measuring up the much larger man's projection, only a strongly disapproving frown on her soft, freckled features. She started toward the device, moving as if she was gliding through the air, head lifted high, her movements precise and effortless. She stood next to Cerendak, her fragile, slender form much more apparent beside the taller warrioress. Her glance wandered over to the glowing skulls at his pauldron, than up to the man's head. - Interesting... fashion statements - she replied flatly.
