“Will fall.” Gospel warned, watching with pulled back ears as his friend clamored onto the kitchen stool.
“I will not.” Issimo argued, his eyes focused on his prize: a shaker box of red hot pepper flakes. Why had he put it on such a high shelf again? “I refuse to have ddukbokkie without kick.” Gospel responded with a quiet snort, and leaned his chin down on the table. This had disaster written all over it...
“Almost...got it...” Issimo stretched up a little higher, reaching for the pepper flakes. The stool wobbled dangerously, and Gospel preemptively winced. But Issimo managed to grab the box just in time, and rebalance the stool before it could fall. Triumphantly, the Reploid looked over his shoulder and held up the box.
“Hah!” Issimo lowered himself to his knees on the stool. “See Gospel? I told you I wouldn’t fa-aAH!” The stool wobbled abruptly, and Issimo flailed before grabbing the counter for stability. The box of pepper flakes fell into the ddukbokkie pot, spilling a liberal amount of its contents into a mix that only needed a pinch, and Gospel let out a loud, yipping laugh.
“Box fell!” The caninoid cackled, flopping to the floor with a loud ‘clang’ while Issimo stared down into the pot in despair.
Aw, man....that much spice was going to burn something fierce.
