The Lord Judges Your Motives
You may think that everything you do is right, but remember that the Lord judges your motives.

Proverbs 21:2 - Bible Verse Meaning and Commentary
All a man’s ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.
Proverbs 21:2
Proverbs 21:2 (NIV) - A person may think their own ways are right, but the LORD weighs the heart.
Every man's way is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the hearts.
Proverbs 21:2 NRSV
i'm going to be very very blunt here. tumblr is my safe place. where i come to read posts and pictures with bible verses and inspiring messages about bravery and courage when I feel anxious. but lately all i see are political posts. everyone professing and declaring their opinions as if they are truth. as if they are right. i didn't follow the blogs i did because i wanted to see you rant about politics. i followed you because you love Jesus. that we are supposed to come into community with one another over CHRIST. OUR SAVIOR. why can't you trust him? why can't you feel compassion with one another instead of spewing your opinions, trying to prove your righteousness in the name of politics. Proverbs 21:2 says "A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart." when have you last let the Lord weigh in on your heart? when have you last used the Word as the truth rather than every news article and celebrity speech? I pray for everyone affected, everyone hurting, everyone rejoicing, everyone. I pray for my brothers and sisters all over the world suffering. if everyone would stop vocalizing hatred and start vocalizing the love of Christ and come into communion with one another and sincerely pray for our nation, we would hear the truth. God's truth.
