do u have any ideas for what the antagonist of prpg could be? bc I don't want it to be the rather repetitive "antagonist wants the macguffin to do X" trope, we've seen that in miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug and Cat Noir, Power Rangers Dino (Super) Charge, and Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

you could try having the villain want to "organize the world's chaos"? like, they want to get rid of life bc it's too unpredictable and illogical

Plate Pierce is jealous of the marine reptile zords that can fly. The marine crystal folding zords like Shasta and Plate are completely bound to the tides unless they combine, which Shasta Sub can't do.

Plate Pierce would be pretty pissed at the sight of the Plesio Zord and Mosa Razor zord. she is also mad at the mosa razor zord for stealing Austro Razor's name, yes, Austroraptor existed longer than mosasaurus and is older in the fossil record and therefore is older. Austro Razor also has a chainsaw butt.

Plate Pierce also is the reason the Dragonzord is gone. she ate it while swimming around Angel Grove Bay. it was also pretty dead, so not like anyone was gonna use it.

so uhh the s2 finale of prpg will have the nanozords be the final antagonist, because of a particular protocol Stenny made. because, you know the phrase of "die a hero, or live long enough to be a villain". plus we've never had a plot where the mentor(s) were training the rangers to defeat them.

there is at least one timeline where giganoto gladiator surprise adopted kid tyler and brody. I refuse to elaborate.

both of them deserve a big scary zord who will protect them at all costs

when a zord becomes unstable, it takes a MASSIVE toll on their health. an unstable zord tends to not listen to their ranger in battle, have a harder time combining, and they tend to act erratically, and foaming at the mouth. Instability in zords is caused by: -their ranger being turned evil -being piloted by an evil force

-prolonged exposure to Shattersteel, an alloy found in cold environments that is highly toxic towards rangers and zords. -being fed porcelain (<- totally not gonna be a plot for an episode in prpg haha) -whiplash

Because baby zords for the most part are born without interference of the grid and run off gridwater, water that is mixed with grid energy and is suspiciously similar looking to pink lemonade, imagine what happens when Baby Spino is so tired and hungry and refuses to eat any food and the Dino Charge rangers are all freaking out becuase Baby Spino is nearly unconscious and starving.

Cue Kendall posting an entire research paper with Shelby to Gridstagram (<- secret ranger internet that me and Skyland2703 came up with a while back) all about how baby zords only get energy from gridwater. Baby Spino is also why it is known baby zords can eat human food. also with hc of the Dino Charge Zords being able to talk, imagine their reactions lol.
