Pruflas, found elsewhere as Busas, is a great Prince and Duke, whose dwelling is around the Tower of Babylon, and he appears outside as a flame, but his head is likened to a great night raven. He is the author and promoter of discord, war, quarrels, and lies. All in the room may not be admitted. He responds to all questions fully. He hath under him twenty-six legions, partly of the Order of Thrones, partly of Angels. - Weir (Campbell's translation from the Latin)

In some manuscripts the third demon is Vassago instead.

May appear as a mighty flame instead of an outdoor flame--the original Latin used "foris" instead of "fortis."

The location of the Tower of Babylon would be vaguely in present-day Iraq.

Purson (also Curson, Pursan) is a Great King of Hell, being served and obeyed by twenty-two legions of demons. He knows of hidden things, can find treasures, and tells past present, and future. Taking a human or aerial body he answers truly of all secret and divine things of Earth and the creation of the world. He also brings good familiars. Purson is depicted as a man with the face of a lion, carrying a ferocious viper in his hand, and riding a bear. Before him, there can be heard many trumpets sounding. Ana Jecore On Ca Purson. Pruflas is a demon, described as a Great Prince and Duke of Hell. He is said to resemble a flame, though sometimes he appears as a hawk. He is often seen outside the Tower of Babel, where he used to reside. In the Dictionnaire Infernal, he is depicted as a lion-headed man riding a bear, a description usually applied to Purson.

Pruflas rules over twenty-six legions of demons. He can sow discord among men. It is advised that he should never be admitted into any place, but if he is conjured, he will answer any questions truthfully.
