the canvas is upscaled x2 for optimal quality on tumblr ; pls keep this in mind bc the image(s) u use must be greater than 600px if u want the best , most crisp result

basic psd and sharpening included in psd

black and white / monochrome color palettes work best

this template can be confusing for beginners ; please do not use if u struggle with many groups , layers , clipping masks , and basic color overlays

Here is the gradient font tutorial I promised! This can be used to make headers, pinned posts, text dividers, etc. and the tutorial is absolute beginner friendly.

*tutorial is a runtime of 19~ mins but that's bc i take time to explain tools for the beginners but you can skip certain sections too if you're more advanced.

but as you can see it's a bit muted, a lil fuzzy and it could be blended better. so now we need to add adjustments to get it looking like this (i didn't think to edit it more until I stopped recording):

as a gift to you, i've decided to share the custom template i made for my wordle-inspired gifset seen here. i don't plan to use it again for the time being, so i'm comfortable giving it away for anyone to use in their future creations! enjoy <3

tips and requirements for this template:

install the Ardena font family (you need this for it to work)

follow the guide image included in the .zip file if you need help

the green and yellow colors are interchangable between dark/light mode—you can switch it up however you want

stick to 5-letter words for the sake of integrity. that's the point!

i think this looks best against b&w gifs, but you do you!
