To praise the Lord with my soul

Dear Lord,

As I start my day today, help me remember that all that I do is all for You. It’s quite easy to forget because of the pressures, deadlines, the fast-paced life, the long train rides, every day distractions— but amidst these all, help me live every moment of today consciously. Focused on the good, on being a better human being, serving the best for others’ interests— all for my soul to praise Yours. May I seek Your face today, Lord. Help me be the person you want me to be.

This I ask, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

#HappyFathersDay! #Psalms103:13 “The Lord is like a father to His children, tender and compassionate.” - A special message to all those men out there that have either lost children and/or cannot have their own children (like me): Don’t ever forget that God loves you. He is gracious, loving, kind, compassionate and so, so loving. He never leaves you, never forsakes you, and always has a plan in your life. • You may not have a child of your own, but Jesus’ love consumes your heart and you can go out and share that love with others, as if they were your own. It can be through adoption, feeding the Word of God to new Christians, bringing non-believers to Christ, serving the needy in your local community... anything. We can be father figures to so many, no matter what. • God sees us, knows our name, understands our situation 100%, loves us unconditionally, and if we remain true to Jesus, He will guide us with the Holy Spirit each and every day to make a huge difference in this world.
