I stumbled across this book, 'Book of Psalms for Catholics,' back in 2014 when I attended an all-white Catholic Church with my old girlfriend in downtown Tampa. I found it in the bookstore, and what caught my eye was the black depiction of Jesus and the 12 disciples on the cover. Later, I discovered that there are over 400 depictions throughout Europe paying tribute to Mother Mary as the Black Madonna. The origins of these statues have been lost over time, which makes me wonder. What did they really look like. 🧐 #BlackMadonna #Messiah #BlackMessiah #JesusChrist
