As I sat amongst a group of amazingly hard working women this week I was overcome with the energy of their stress concerning their self worth. Their beings held all their self doubts, all the voices that were telling them they weren't good enough, productive enough, worthy enough. Within each of them held the programmed beliefs that as woman we are only valuable for what we can give or do for another. As I sat with them I told them this: You do not have to do another productive thing in your life for your life to have value. If you give nothing more than your breath in and out to this world that is enough. Just Breath If you choose to give let it be because your heart yearns for it, not because you must to please someone or thing outside of you. Fear around speaking your truth is a powerful fear that can lead us down a path of trying to manipulate others to get our needs met. When our heart desires something we move it up to our throat chakra to work on expressing that desire, but if the throat chakra is not functioning well we will feel stifled, unseen, and unheard. This can lead us to try to get our needs met in other, less heart centered ways.
