Allison Street - Section 11

1.       In my paper, I’ll be researching art and the way it can impact people emotionally. My research paper will explore the effectiveness of art therapy.

2.       I’ve always been passionate about art and art history. I enjoy learning about these subjects so much, that one day I hope to teach them. It’s interesting to me to observe the different emotional reactions that different kinds of art can illicit. Art therapy harnesses art’s ability to influence emotions as a way to recover from various mental illnesses. This practice is extremely important to many and has made a difference in the lives of countless.

3.       Art Therapy is a modern practice that has been used for years in the realm of psychology. The topic will be east to research because there are already many psychological studies of the effect of art therapy, and there are a lot of resources that analyze its effectiveness.
