Many people who haven't read the Golden Ass don't know that Psyche is insane, I love her, but she IS insane. Right after the famous scene where she finds out Cupid's identity and burned him by accident, betraying his trust, and making him fly away, she got really desolated and the god Pan advises her to not end her life but to try to win Cupid's affections again. So far it is very sweet but Psyche goes out of her way in a side quest and tricks her two sisters (who were responsible for the advise that drove Cupid away) to throw themselves off a cliff T.T well at least she matches her in-laws insanity lol
