i think the reason i’m enjoying the mandalorian so much is because of the absolute respect the prequel era lore is getting. the sequels were so adamant about just being remakes of the original trilogy and treating the prequels like they didn’t exist, that they suffered because of it. they failed to realize just how potent the pt era stuff is to the overall story of star wars as a whole. unlike the sequels, they’re necessary. they can’t be ignored, and us prequel fans can now be happy knowing they won’t be anymore.

A legacy that would go largely unrealized, and Sabé burned with the need to know ~why~.
