“Because of my previous job as a freelance deliveryman, I never got the time to settle down and cook my own meals, so I often had to spend my pay on frozen and fast food... Got to eat a decent breakfast at a local diner near my apartment that I used to live in before joining the hotel.”

The messenger gazed up at the building she had long been searching for. The Happy Hotel. An establishment meant to redeem sinners run by none other than her very own niece. A satisfied smile graced her features. Gabriel thought this was a marvelous opportunity to finally meet Charlie and hopefully, build a connection with her. She also would be more than happy to assist her niece with her project in any way she could.

With a cheerful hum, the Archangel would firmly knock on the front door and wait patiently for answer.

His statement about admiring the other wasn’t an empty compliment, so he didn’t fear what would be the consequence of lying to someone as powerful as the other.
