Today, is a donut 🍩🍩 kinda day...!😊 When they say it's a, "Word of mouth," this is it! This Asian mom and pop donut shop was struggling to keep their shop afloat. They didn't know if they were able to keep their business running and still pay for their immigrant employees when Covid-19 hit. But, due to the community and their gracious hearts the, "Word of mouth" got them up on their feet and running again! 👏 I honestly didn't know about them until I heard about it from a customer just wanting to help spread the words about them. It looks like they are positively back on their feet, because as I was waiting in line, a local news station came out to film and interview the shop.👍 Waiting in line was no joke! I had to wait outside in line, in the cold, for about 20 to 25 minutes, and the line was long too! But it was all worth it! 😊😋 While standing in line, I had a few nostalgic memories of my childhood life (thinking of only happy things); Growing up, there was an Asian mom and pop donut shop across our apartment complex, so my dad would walk across the street to get donuts for us kids every once in a while. 🤗 ❤️ This place is located in Eagan, Minnesota, which is quite a drive from St. Paul. However, I remember when Krispy Cream was still in business the drive was more or less the same distance. If you plan to give them a try and does not want to wait out in the cold weather, they do take over-the-phone orders that way you can just pick up! The owner said that by doing this they are helping to reduce the wait time, especially having to wait in this cold weather. They are open from 5am to noon, and closed on Monday.
