If you like Andrew bird you may like Patrick Watson. I don't even know how similar they are musically but my brain always connects them for some reason? *shrug*

I looked him up right after I got this message (which was an embarrassingly long time ago on my part; I’m so sorry), and quite conveniently the first song I happened upon was “Big Bird in a Small Cage”

Apart from being super chill and energetic in a way I’ve only experienced through a Sundance indie film, his singing style reminds me a lot of Chris Garneau

Andrew bird!! His stuff always gets me feeling some type of way

Yeah! Like the majority of his Armchair Apocryha album always strikes up a series of emotions I can’t really describe because they feel so… simplistically complex for lack of better word

Like it just flows out so naturally. His tunes are catchy and engaging, and he keeps his voice pretty level and doesn’t really raise it above an indoor voice
