Just before the release of the Luna-X versions, I had created this list of the characters I planned to pull.

I was originally going to make a wishlist of sorts, but I think it would be easier to follow the pulling plans format I often see online, starting with when I began to now!

Miss
I started playing when Durin's rerun banner was in it's last few days, and I only managed to get two wishes in before it expired. At the time, I didn't really mind missing out on him. However, after getting Varka, and also trying out his test run, I've come to realize that he's an important part of the team comp I'm running there.

Same situation as the above, however I'm counting this one as a skip mostly because I had far less interest in pulling for him than Durin, and I don't really know if I will consider pulling for him in future (even though he's another character that pairs well with Varka)

Putting these two together for this one, I remember playing super briefly for their banners, but beyond that there was a gap between these two and the next patch where I just didn't play at all. Their designs look fun, though!

Without knowing too much about Columbina, I actually really think she's a cool character, and I love her design (Plus very much serving Aurora vibes, which is an extra win). if she ever reruns again, I very much think I will attempt to pull for her, both for these reasons, and because I think I will need a luna-crystalize character in future. As for why I skipped her, it was about this time when I was informed that Neuvillette had a banner coming up, so I began to save for him instead.

Same reasoning as Columbina, I passed on her and Columbina's banner to save for Neuv.
Pull (C0 R1)
I was stupidly lucky here; the night his banner released, I dropped a 10x wish and got him at 5 pity. I was familiar with this character from back in the day, plus a friend of mine showed me his gameplay, so when I heard that he was having a rerun, I was immediately interested. As a new player it was probably silly of me to pull him with almost nobody to build him around, but I've since managed to throw together a team for him, and building him has been pretty decent. (also I attempted to get his C1 to prevent his charged attack from being interrupted in combat, but I ran out of time lmao)

Unfortunately, I was more invested in getting Neuv's weapon, and then his C1, so I didn't give Zibai too much thought. Her test run was fun to play, though, and given that I want to pull for Columbina in the future, Zibai could become someone I also pull later on to compliment her.

Pull (C0 R1)
I have a pyramid of needs, on top of this pyramid is a buff blond man with two claymores. I remember seeing him all over my social media when he first got announced mid last year, and the fact that I'm now actually playing this game and HAVE HIM is insane. There is more I can say about Varka, but none of it is normal and or hinged. I love him.
When his banner first released, I lost him to Qiqi at 79 pity, and got him a day or two later at 78. His banner also gave me an entire team for him through Sucrose, Bennett and Xiangling, so he's been much easier to set up than Neuv.
As of posting I'm currently looking to get his C1 for that extra bit of damage.

This was actually another character I was heavily considering getting (especially because of Varka, he needs his bf fr fr). However, with nine days left, plus the fact that I'm more focused on getting Varka's C1, I highly doubt that I will be able to pull him in time. In future though? yeah. I'll definitely pull.

Similar drill to Durin in Genshin Impact, I started playing within the last few days of her banner, and I only managed to get a handful of warps in before it changed over to the phase 2 banners. I really love her design, from the witch get-up to the key motifs (ESPECIALLY as a kingdom hearts fan over here), she eats, she slays. Honestly hope she reruns soon, I have an Anaxa team that needs her.

Evernight seems cool too, make no mistake there, I was just more interested in getting THerta, which is why I'm counting this as a skip rather than a miss. (plus with her banner rerunning right now, I've not even made an attempt to warp for her, so I'm kinda also basing it off that too lol)

He was given out for free when the second phase dropped. Was really lucky to get him when I did, because I later got Phainon and realised that between him, RMC, and Bronya (who I got from stellar warping) a team more or less fell into my lap without me needing to do much at all. My only regret is that I didnt even try to get his lightcone and I've been really feeling that mistake ever since.
(also would love to get him to at-least E2 at some point)

I'm not gonna lie to you, I kind of regret pulling Anaxa. Not because he's bad or anything, but simply because I haven't managed to use him, and I don't have very many characters who work well with him (plus all my effort went into building Phainon's team over the ppl who do work well with him). If I manage to get THerta in the future, though...

Listen. I wanted to. I really badly wanted to. However, at this point I did not have enough Chrysos Heirs to justify getting her (especially in phase 1), and by the time I did, I had locked in so hard on collecting Phainon and Mydei (and their LCs) that by the time she'd become viable for my account, I had actually run out of time on her. On the plus side, she's pretty new, so I know she'll rerun again in the near future, and it will be on sight.

This one was funny, I remember being unsure of who to warp for at the time, so I asked a streamer I was watching (for drops) and she recommended Hyacine to me. I proceeded to get her not once, but twice in a single 10x warp (12 and 3 pity respectively). Did not get her lightcone (in fact I didn't even try) but a win is a win. (also sorry to Hyacine for not keeping a screenshot of when I got her, I swore I did, but apparently not.)

I am still so bummed that I didn't get Castorice, I spent most of phase 1 warping for her after getting Hyacine because like? goddess of death who can summon a dragon? HELLO!? But I hit a point where I realised it was not gonna happen, so I opted to hold my jades for Phainon and Mydei instead :( I am so sorry Castorice.

Phainon was literally why I started playing in the first place, one of my friends was streaming the game, and he was playing through Divergent Universe with him on his team. I recognized him from Instagram (because like Genshin I was also lurking this game for the men, surprise surprise.) And a couple nights later I had downloaded Star Rail! lmfao. I love him so much, he's best boy, he deserves everything good. (Also dont throw any spoilers at me I'm only part-way through Amphoreus SLFDJSKFDJ). I was so fucking happy when his banner reran, and I went FERAL when I won the 50/50 for him. (I also tried to get his e1 but lost that 50/50 to Fu Xuan. Sadge :< )

So. Take all my feelings about Phainon above, but superimpose them onto Mydei. BUT ALSO, as a Phaidei enjoyer, it was only natural that I must collect Phainon's boyfriend. (which btw, Hoyo knows what they were doing running them both at the same time, I know yall wanna make them kiss too! I AM ON TO YOU-) Also for the longest time he and Phainon have been the only two characters on my account with a functional team around them (Only Phainon's is more invested in :sob: )

Absolutely no shade to her, but I genuinely forgot she was there. I was so consumed by collecting both halves of the Amphoreus yaoi that I was surprised to look back through the banners and discover she was running alongside them. Whoops.

Given that I started pulling for break characters (like Dahlia and Fugue), I really should have tried to pull Firefly in hindsight, but once I had Dahlia, I started saving for Fugue instead. I was really conflicted during these banners, all in all. (My break team is in shambles for this btw) Having just played through Penacony at the time, though, I found her character to be really cool :>

Oh god this was painful. I had my sights set on her because Tingyun is one of my faves. But then I had to go and lose the 50/50 to BAILU. With the fork well and truly stuck in the outlet of my plans, and Sunday on the horizon, I ended up deciding to save my jades instead. (My break team was in ruins for this btw) Anyways, you HAD to be there for the crashout.

I really wish I wasn't in the position I was in during her rerun, otherwise I would have gotten her in a heartbeat. She serves, she slays, her ult lines are firmly stuck in my head (I really love her cadence). Also, she's one of my favourite characters to run in Currency Wars (if you know, you know).

I want you to know I quietly screamed when I realized I was about to pull him on a warp, as if I hadn't gotten him on a guarantee at that point. Sunday is one I had been waiting on for months after getting Phainon (two of my friends had him on their teams, plus I had some opportunities to trial him on my own team, so I had a grasp of his potential). So I think that's why I reacted the way I did? I was super keen to have gotten him to say the least. Which btw, him and Bronya together? Chefs kiss, gets Phainon into his ult soooo quick.
That said, I’ll probably skip Zibai though. I’m partially tempted to go for her because I have precisely zero geo DPS (Ningguang doesn’t count) and my only geo 5 star is Xilonen) but I don’t like how restrictive Zibai’s play style is plus c6 4 star reliance plus taking columbina away from Nefer so yeah. I’m not gonna enjoy whatever geo shill is certainly coming though :((( I am slightly tempted by Neuvillette as I also don’t have a true hydro carry and I don’t like Mualani’s play style but Neuv is a bit old and I think it’s better to save for other stuff. I also remembered I have an additional 9ish pulls from accumulated crystals from buying Welkins but I want Kaeya’s skin cuz I missed that event but also I don’t use him and also pulls are more important so idk?!? But if I got Neuv I could get his skin??? Ugh, choices. I love Hutao and Yelan skins but don’t have those units sadly :/. But yeah I should probably be saving for Mavuika/Nefer r1, Columbina c1, and Nicole (I’ve become a pyro collector but prob won’t get the old units like Hutao and Lyney but I wanna get all the new pyros. But I’m not getting Varka so I hope Nicole has other uses. I also kind of want Skirk but it will depend on how many pulls I have and if I keep buying welkins as well. It will also depend on rerun timings and 50/50 luck because Lauma c1 is like infinitely more important for me but I would like Skirk also. I have iced coffee but I skipped Skirk first time because I needed Citlali and I’m really glad I did since I ended up with enough pulls to get ineffa too which is the best decision ever. But it’s like I can probably clear cryo shilling in abyss with ayaka/escoffier and wait for tsarista assuming she’s a dps but not sure if I wanna cope for another year

So, in the same fashion as the last post, I'm gonna do a recap for my alt account - it's a bit more recent, having started it in the second half of 1.5, but it's been active throughout the whole last year.
I've also been slightly luckier there, and it's the account where I do things for fun mostly - but less intro, more recap !

Honestly, not too bad : I don't mind having lost the e1s especially this early. The Black Swan loss was bad in 2.0 because I really wanted to use a DOT team, but in hindsight it was a good thing - even though I cannot use Kafka, it's just not viable right now.
Losing on Robin is expected at this point - Firefly I am not mad about either (I do not like her, and I do not like her gameplay as well, I realised it in hindsight).
In this patch, I removed :
Bailu (Not owned) : Same as on main, but even worse - I don't even own her. She'll come on standard if she wishes.
Yanqing (E0) : I have him at E0 and it's enough for my alt. I also have no reason to keep him in the pool further. He ain't built.
Welt (E0) : His eidolons are good, but I would rather get other characters in the pool - these 3 have the lowest eidolons (Himeko/Clara are at E1, Bronya is technically at E2 (but unactivated), Gepard is at E3) so I would rather get further to the end goal of accessing silver tokens.
Jiaoqiu makes me the most mad in a sense, since he would've been needed for my Acheron and the only reason why I couldn't get both him and Fugue is that damned 50/50. Losing on Seele though ? Best case scenario for a loss - I've started building her.
Light Cones
Cones are always the dubious "why did I go fish why why" in these.
At least, I don't regret anything here. That first loss was on Acheron's cone (and you couldn't guess but I got the cone on her rerun. I was on a mission). The second one was me fishing alternating between Sunday's cone and JY's (don't ask) and it ended up giving me an early loss on JY's.

Yunli's cone also was a case of casual fishing but I do use Clara on my alt, and hopefully Blade will have a good enough buff - this cone being his second BIS might be really helpful. Not a bad cone to early on ngl.
Standard pulls
On this account, luck hasn't been as kind I fear. It did turn around recently though. Himeko and her cone are also great pulls, I hope it continues like this !
And now, what are the plans ?
Now, the plan is to try and get a 4pc scholar for Argenti - and to build Seele as well. Now that we know Archer is a Quantum, and Hunt unit, it does make sense that she's in the pool... However, her kit is too fun to pass on, and I really look forward to do some Seele gaming.
In terms of pulls, I honestly think I might grab Cipher if she's great with Acheron - it won't be Jiaoqiu but depending on Silver Wolf's buffs... We'll see. There are too many ifs in that reflexion - in any case, Tribbie might rerun soon - and if I can get her...
Same for Sunday's cone, I do want to try getting it because it's such an upgrade over Bronya's sig.
What will happen ? I do not know. All I know I do not plan to pull on the collab, unless I really like Saber's kit - plans are always so fleeting anyway.
