The Neptuniflux Flag

Neptuniflux is an abromantic/fluid sexual orientation. Neptuniflux individuals experience constant attraction to female/female-aligned people and non-binary people and occasionally like males or male-aligned people to a fluctuating extent. Neptuniflux people can be any gender.

The extent of which the fluctuations occur depends entirely on the person. For some neptuniflux people, they can become completely unattracted to male-aligned people at times. For others, their attraction may only reduce in intensity, but never fully go away.

The masc version is uraniflux, and the androgynous version is saturniflux.

Pulsaric

Pulsaric is an orientation where your attraction for a gender/certian genders is static, while attraction to another/other genders is fluid.

Example: Jacob is always attracted to women, that never changes. But sometimes he likes men too, and sometimes he doesn’t like men. He always likes NB people, but sometimes he really likes them, sometimes he only finds then slightly cute.

Pera - a gender that is not at all a part of, or related to, the gender trinary of male/female/none (or neutral)

Pearlian - a non-binary man and woman attracted to nonbinary people, men and women (nblnb, nblw, nblm, wlnb, wlw, wlm, mlnb, mlm and mlw).

New Terminology!

Hey there! It’s Grey! I’m here today to tell you about a new term I coined with the help of some lovely people in a discord server.

Pulsaric: An orientation where attraction to one/certain gender(s) is static while attraction to another/other gender(s) fluctuates, sometimes feeling attraction to that gender(s) and sometimes feeling no attraction.

This term applies to any kind of attraction (sexual, romantic, alterous, etc.).

I wanted to follow the trend of nonbinary specific terms being themed around space so I settled on pulsaric, named after pulsars! (a very interesting google, I highly suggest)

An example of someone who is pulsaric is someone like me! For instance, my attraction to men is static, unchanging, always there. However, my attraction to women comes and goes—sometimes disappearing entirely for long stretches of times.

So that’s my addition to the ever growing list of wonderful new terms for nonbinary orientations! I hope y’all like it! I’ll be using it myself.
