Never Forget:Pulwama terror attack

14th February marks seven years since the horrific Pulwama terror attack ; a wound that still lives in the heart of every Indian. 40 brave CRPF jawans were martyred while serving the nation with courage and honour. Their sacrifice was not just for their families,

but for 1.4 billion Indians. We remember their bravery. We honour their sacrifice.

We stand united against terrorism in every form.

Let us also be clear that terrorism has a breeding ground. The world cannot ignore the role of Pakistan as a state that has repeatedly sheltered and supported terrorist networks targeting India.

Silence only strengthens terror. India will never forget. India will never forgive terrorism. The sacrifice of our heroes will continue to inspire generations.

Our mothers get worried when we reach home late,The mothers of the soldiers do not expect their sons will reach home any day.

We kids get upset with our fathers for not buying us enough crackers we wanted,The kids of the soldiers do not have their fathers to even celebrate.

Our mothers get upset with our fathers for not spending quality time,The wives of the soldiers crave to even see their husbands once in a while.

Its not easy to become a Soldier,Its tougher to give Birth to a soldier.

Its not easy to become a soldier,Its tougher to marry a soldier.

Its not easy to become a soldier,Its tougher to let go our soldiers.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the recent terror attack in Pulwama, Kashmir, in which 44 of the CRPF's young men needlessly lost their lives. We vehemently condemn all forms of terrorism and this is no exception. As a tribute to the fallen soldiers and their families, Mehdi Foundation India and ALRA TV have arranged candlelight vigils across India to express our sorrow and condolences.
