so pumpkin scissors. it's like. a series about a military propaganda unit that was made to help with post war relief efforts. their unit consists of an old man, a princess, a blonde man, a glasses guy, a cute girl and a dog. after the events of chapter one, which starts a few years after a war ended, involves our unit facing off against a mercenary band using chemical warfare on a town, a giant man who can go toe-to-toe with tanks is included in the lineup.

the series frequently talks about the problems of war relief, poverty, sickness, doesn't stray from corruption in politics and the military, and even includes human experimentation!

it's a very mature series, as one of the impoverished areas they come across has a flashback to a child getting run over by a tank, another area as slums in the sewers where we meet a pyro solider who can't take off his suit or he dies horribly. there's even an arc where an angry mob of impoverished people crash a fancy ball to attack the nobles. the princess has a fiancee who only wants her bc he's got their relationship twisted. the giant man grew up in the slums as the son of a prostitute and a doctor. there's an anti-war terrorist group attacking the city during an international event hosted there.

it's comic relief however deals with dick size jokes and sex jokes.

the anime low-key sucks bc they made filler

but the op is sick imho

it's kinda fantasy (there's like. a mecha godzillia of tanks. a weird unicorn) but also kinda reflects post ww1??
