Intro/What to expect

This is my side blog for writing stuff! This is to help me organize my thoughts more, as well as post stories that I feel would be too confusing on ao3 (we made a lot of lore here, and I'm not sure if ao3 can keep up quite yet.) I'll still upload on ao3, buuuut yeah. Just a list of stuff I feel I should say:

The stories posted are most likely gonna be random and incomplete. Meaning one story may seem it can lead to a whooole serious plot, then the next posted story will be Keith failing at cooking cereal, who knows.

Some stories will be silly, some will be sweet, some will be suggestive/nsfw, and some will be angst. Angst especially may include serious themes, such s*xual abuse, s*cide, and so on. Everything will be tagged accordingly, and darker themes will be hidden under a readmore, so read what you're comfortable with

I don't take requests, but I'm open to suggestions, meaning if you suggest something, I may do it, but don't expect it to be done. (Remember, I have favoritism, so if you suggest something with someone like Leroy, it might happen)

If it IS a continuous story, I'll make a masterpost that links it all together

I'll update this whenever something comes up

Double meanings

Figured I should put this all down in writing until we get the new content,

To start off let’s begin with something minor:

‘The Bunker’ or ‘bomb shelter’ has been referred to before,

Lore Tab: The Warlock Aunor - Surveillance Transcript. Referenced below

Drifter really knows something’s coming, he’s mentioned it more times than most,

the fact they call the Derelict a ‘Bomb shelter’ is trivial for this,

The tapes; this is from the Third one

“Humanity's done kid, you can save them, even if you could wrap a ward of dawn around this whole town, they'd start dying off all on their own”

And finally, to quote his last tape to the Protégé:

Speaking of which, The Collapse wasn’t the last extinction level event to hit humanity, Ol’ Drifter’s seen another one coming, Everything I’m building in the Nine Realms is preparation, There’s a few seats I’m saving, one of them is for you. If you want it”

Now I’m sure I’ve missed some things but another topic of interest for me: Dredgen Hope.

Now we know that’s what he went with, but he also contradicts himself many times. 

We know he used the Dredgen title to piss off the Shadows, was this also one of his notions at how fourth wall/Grey he is sometimes? absolutely 

But I hear a lot of “Don’t give into hope” in lore it seems like if it wasn’t clear enough; Bungie’s notions to more than what meets the eye.

And now for a scene from Dregden Yor’s Lore

“As it will ever be, but that doesn’t mean that you give into-” His Ghost

 “Into what?...hope?” - Yor

 “This is not Hope” - His Ghost

 “This is peace” - Yor  

In the last tape to his Protégé, he also states this:

“Here’s somethin’ I never had chance to tell anyone else on account of they're dead or try’na kill me, don’t give into hope. That gets you killed.”

Trust, in topic.

But he says ‘Trust’ VERY often; 

“All these motes are going to a good cause, Trust” Random dialog after a gambit match

“Trust nothing you hear” Drifter when you tell him about your vision from the Nine

“Do I trust them for it? hell no” Drifter tapes, mentioning the Vanguard.

“And against my better judgement I trust you, just a little” When you side with him.

“a lot of people coming for my ghost, You’re sticking your neck out by getting so chummy with me, but hey! if that day comes, they’ll be eating bullets from both of us, Trust” Final speech when you side with him

“I admire a woman who’s willing to risk the trust of everyone who has ever been kind to her” First speech when you side with him

“He will not forget that you chose not to trust him” if you side with the Vanguard

“Nice work, you know this little tif we got going is stupid, why don’t we make amends; Say you trust me again? no? haha well I had to try,” Gambit match as a Vanguard

As well as many other times,These are all I had on record.

needless to say trust is something special to him, is it special to you, too?
